The BMW Lovos concept design is all about making the most of solar power.
With it's Sci-Fi qualities and intimidating look, the Lovos -- meainng Lifestyle of Voluntary Simplicity -- is the ultimate driving machine created by Pforzheim University graduate Anne Forschner.
The exterior is made up of individual spkie-like panels, each of which rotate to follow the sun's rays. The solar photovoltaic cells that cover the panels convert the sunlight into energy to (possibly) run the car. Each panel also acts as an airbrake -- If one of the panels starts acting-up, then it can be replaced.
